Vanaz Metro Station, the western terminus of Pune Metro’s Aqua Line, symbolizes the city’s growing public transportation network. Opened in March 2022, it initially connected to Garware College but recently extended its reach to Ruby Hall Clinic in August 2023. This elevated station boasts three levels, with two currently operational concourses and a platform level. Notably, it’s the only station in the system with three tiers.

Station layout

Vanaz station has two tracks and two side platforms. Platform 1 is for eastbound trains towards Ruby Hall Clinic, and platform 2 is for westbound trains terminating at the station. There is a mezzanine level with fare control, station agent, Metro Card vending machines, and a crossover. The station has street-level exits/entrances. The track beyond the station leads to Vanaz Depot, with a planned extension for Chandani Chowk.
