Kavi Subhash Metro Station, formerly New Garia, is the southernmost terminal of the North-South corridor, also known as the Blue Line, of Kolkata Metro. Inaugurated in 2010, it’s named after the eminent Bengali poet Subhash Mukhopadhyay. Standing tall near the New Garia railway station, this elevated station holds significance for its current role and future potential.
